5. Stadium Complex


The Leicester Road Stadium complex covers 16 acres and includes 2 full size pitches and 2 half size pitches. The flagship of the complex is the Leicester Road Stadium, a 6,125 capacity purpose built football ground comprising the Main Stand and a social club inside the ground called the CrossBar. Sponsorship

The complex is not currently sponsored.

South Wing

There is an overall South Wing capacity of 1,730. With 1,100 hard standing places and the Main Stand with covered seated spectating with a capacity of 732 seats.

East Stand - is currently not sponsored

The East Wing has covered standing spectating with a capacity of 1,120 and an uncovered hard standing of 450.

North Stand - is currently not sponsored

The North Wing has covered standing spectating with a capacity of 1,211 and uncovered hard standing capacity of 470. The stand was named after the family which owned the land the Stadium is built on however, it will probably be always called 'the Shed'.

West Terrace & Changing Complex - is currently not sponsored

Currently the West Wing is hard standing for 1,144 spectators.

Covered seating is planned for above the changing complex at a later date and once completed, the West Stand will have an additional seated capacity of 500.

Away Fans/Segregation

Should the need arise for segregation then away fans will be allocated the West End of the ground. It's all uncovered hard standing with a capacity of 1,144. Also 80 seats will be allocated at the west side of the Main Stand, meaning a total segregation capacity of 1,224. The Away Turnstiles are only operable when segregation is in place. (see ground plan above)

Should the need arise, it is possible to extend the segregation point into the North Stand, increasing the away capacity up to 1,800.

Leicester Road stadium is currently rated from a health & safety perspective for a capacity of 4,329 spectators.
