Playoff bound Hinckley LRFC return to Leicester Road for the final day of the Northern Premier League campaign, as they host Coventry Sphinx.

After securing their spot in the playoffs for the first time in the clubs history last weekend following a 1-1 draw away to Cambridge City, Neil Lyne's side welcome Coventry Sphinx for the final roll call of the season, ahead of the semi-final next Tuesday.

It's been an incredible season for the Knitters, in only their second season at Step Four and after finishing 13th in their debut season, beating everyone's expectations, knowing a win will secure them a fourth placed finish, against a side who are still not mathematically safe from relegation.

Coventry currently sit just three points above the relegation zone, however they do have a far superior goal difference to the teams below and there would have to be a massive shock for that to be turned over.

They make the short journey down the M69 on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Boldmere St Michaels last weekend and are without a win in their last 13 games, there last three points coming at the end of January in a 3-2 win away to Coleshill Town and currently sit second bottom in the form guide, picking up just two points from their last six games.

Against a side really struggling for form, Saturday comes as a great opportunity for Hinckley to build some momentum heading into Tuesday's playoffs.

The stadium will be open to supporters from 12:30pm with a new pie, chips and a drink deal available till 2pm
