Hinckley LRFC face a quick turn around as they prepare for their second game in as many days when they travel to Spalding United on Easter Monday.

Following Saturday's 2-2 draw against Sporting Khalsa at Leicester Road Stadium, Neil Lyne's side must now prepare for a much tougher test against second placed Spalding who are in a serious title fight alongside Harborough Town.

Hinckley on the other hand are in a race for the playoffs and Saturday's draw leaves them four points clear of Quorn in sixth placed whilst the latter have a game in hand of the Knitters.

Monday's host return to home soil after a convincing 3-0 win over Sheepshead Dynamo on Saturday and look to go undefeated for a seventh game in a row.

Their last defeat came in the middle of February when they fell to a shock 3-1 result away to Bedworth United.

Hinckley travel to Spalding hoping to avoid a league double defeat having fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat at Leicester Road Stadium on Boxing Day.

They will also be looking to dent Spalding's title hopes by producing a repeat of their performance in Lincolnshire last season when Neil Lyne's side came away with three points following a 1-0 win thanks to an early Nick Reeves goal.

With only five games remaining in the league season and everything up to grabs for both sides, the result of this game could prove vital for either sides come the end of April.
