In a closely fought contest, a goal midway through the first half from Dylan Hart was enough to seal 3 points for the visitors. The opening 20 minutes started in a cagey manner neither side really testing the opposite goalkeeper.
On 20 minutes a Worcester corner fell to Felix Miles who's shot was brilliantly cleared off the line by Burrows. The resulting corner however saw the ball fall to Dylan Hart who fired through a crowd of players into the Hinckley net to give the visitors the lead.
On the half hour mark Hinckley had arguably their best a chance. A Corner from the right hand side was flicked into the path of Humpheys 8 yards out but his effort was high and wide not troubling the Worcester keeper.
Half Time Hinckley 0-1 Worcester City
The second half was a very balanced affair with neither side really gaining the upper hand. Despite Hinckleys possession and play around the box they were unable to fashion out a chance that would get them back into the game.
Worcester had a couple of half chances, Mace had a run and shot that went over and Hartleys header was straight at Laban. Worcester had their best chance for a second on 82. Miles shot from 20 yards was well saved by Laban before the defence cleared away any chance at the rebound.
Worcester held strong in the closing minutes denying Hinckley any space in the final third and running down the clock when in possession to pick up 3 points and remain 3rd in the league.
With results in the bottom half going The Knitters way, Hinckley remain 16th 7 points ahead of the drop zone.
