The Ladies Management Team will be headed up by former Leicester City striker Mick Duffy who has taken on the role of Ladies Director of Football. Mick came through the ranks at Leicester City and partnered Gary Lineker up front laying on his first ever professional goal before further career stops at FC Zarrbruken, Notts County and Hartlepool. Mick is no stranger to non league football having played, managed and coached in the men's game before focusing on the women's game taking in spells as Director of Football for Leicester City Ladies.

Alison Huckvale comes in as Ladies Secretary and is no stranger to women's football having played for Notts County, Coventry City and Leicester City Ladies. Alison is a part-time school teacher and a real go-getter, Alison is also a level 2 coach and will head up the 16-18 girls section.

Dan Flint will take on the role of Ladies Team Head Coach having filled the roll successfully at Lutterworth Ladies where he lead them out of the Leicester Ladies Senior League and into mid table respectability in the East Midlands Regional Women's League. Dan is a level 3 coach and delivers coaching at all levels for a living.

Leanne Leach comes in as the Girls Academy Manager and also doubles up as our Girls Welfare Officer. Leanne was a star striker for Lutterworth, Cosby and Oadby and Wigston Ladies before focusing on coaching and education. Leanne is a level 2 coach as well as a BTEC tutor and will continue to deliver our mini girls sessions on a Saturday morning once lockdown is over.

The ladies management team has been working very hard unofficially behind the scenes since before Christmas. Ladies training sessions had already started before the season came to an abrupt end.

The Board of Directors would like to welcome Mick, Alison, Dan and Leanne into Leicester Road Football Club and wish you every success in delivering and promoting women and girls football to establish Leicester Road as the main ladies and girls club in the county.
