
Representatives of Liverpool contacted Leicester Road Football Club to make arrangements under strict confidentiality as they were looking for a quality secured stadium for ‘behind-closed-doors’ training prior to their televised premiership game against Leicester City on Monday night at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester Road Stadium is the home of Hinckley’s premier football club, Leicester Road Football Club and is located on the Leicester Road as you enter Hinckley coming from Leicester A47/B4668 just 20 minutes from Leicester city centre.
Jurgen Klopp together with his full squad and officials arrived at Leicester Road Stadium at 10:30 hours and met with Leicester Road Football Club officials, had a brief tour of the stadium and then went on to meet and integrate members of Leicester Road’s development squad who supported the training session.
This is a great coup for the club and shows the standard of facility Leicester Road Football Club have to offer its potential sponsors and clients.
Liverpool Football Club kindly donated a signed shirt to Leicester Road Football Club which will take pride of place in the new club house for all to see.
