Planning consent has been granted to build a complex of 6 offices at Leicester Road Stadium to assist Hinckley Leicester Road Football Club in expanding their operations. The offices will be used jointly by the football club as well as hired out on commercial leases to third-parties to increase the revenue generation opportunities for the club. This opportunity is seen as a real game-changer and the desire is to start this development straight away.

The office complex will be privately funded and operated as a going concern for the benefit of the football club.

This final planning consent completes a series of infrastructure initiatives identified through the public consultation carried out in 2022 resulting in a very comprehensive development plan sponsored by our very supportive borough council.

Leicester Road Stadium will now be enhanced with:-

A new club shop annexed onto Cross Bar
A new Refreshment Bar integrated in to the Thomas Powers (north) Stand
A new 7v7 size Multi Use Games Area - also available for public hire
A new complex of 6 offices - available on commercial leases

These initiatives will help to provide a better stadium experience and wherever possible the club has confirmed that its preference will be to utilise local trades and skills.
