24-year-old Matty left Leicester Road at the end of the 2017 season in pursuit of football at a higher level arriving at National League North Leamington during pre-season after a season in the Northern Premier Division with Barwell.

2016 - 2017: 39 Goals in all competitions at Leicester Road (Step 6)
2017 - 2018: 20 Goals in all competitions at Barwell (Step 3)
2018 - 2019: 8 Goals in all competitions at Leamington (Step 2)

According to the Solihull Moors website:

He arrives at the Moors with the team on a run of six wins out of their previous seven games and Stenson is eager to get going.

He said: “I’m buzzing – I just can’t wait to get started now. I’ve been quite excited over these last few weeks.

“The club’s going in the right direction. I’ve met with the gaffer, the assistant and Mark Fogarty and they’ve really sold it to me, where they want to go and what their plan is, so I’m looking forward to it.

“Everyone wants to play as high as they can, so I’m going to come into the National League and hopefully carry it on. I can’t wait to go out there and show what I can do.”
