The Midland Junior Premier League is one of the most highly regarded leagues in the country and provides Junior/Youth Development leagues that put their emphasis on Player, Coach and Referee development. Now in it's eleventh season it goes from strength to strength after being formed in 2004/05 by a small group of clubs. Today's Leicester Road development teams exist as one of the founder members of the league and play at three age group levels along with other local teams Heather St. John, Oadby Owls, Beaumont Town, Coventry United, Bedworth United, Glenfield United and Coventry Sphinx
