Although the season has barely just finished, Neil Lyne has been ultra busy meeting every member of his current squad as he plans for next seasons assault on the league. Within this group, 8 players have now played over 100 league games each and 5 have played over 50 games each for Leicester Road.

Neil is very keen to consolidate on those players before looking at other options to strengthen the squad. Much to his surprise, Neil has been overwhelmed by enquiries from more than 20 players who finished last season plying their trade at a higher level to Leicester Road.

Whilst Neil is one for playing his cards very close to his chest, he remained very upbeat and positive that things were moving in the right direction for Leicester Road to assemble a strong squad and fully expects us to be a force to be reckoned with again next season.

Unlike other clubs, Leicester Road will not be announcing any player signings until after the new registration forms have been printed and circulated by the league and those players have physically signed them.
