We have received the following feedback:

"The club's application, entered on 15 June 2025 was duly considered by The FA's Step 5 & 6 Operational Committee.

First and foremost, there is currently no vacancy at Step 6 of the National League System.

Pursuant to Regulation 6.3, the Committee could only place the new Club at Step 6, being two steps below Step 4 (the level in which the Former Club participated prior to its withdrawal from the league and liquidation). Additionally, a Club could only be allocated to the highest level (in this case Step 6) where there are vacancies, in accordance with Regulation 3.1, Step 6 is limited to 340 Clubs. As was notified to the New Club at the time of submission, there is currently no vacancy at Step 6 of the National League System. This is irrespective of vacancies at other step levels, as those vacancies are being left unfilled due to AGM's passing.

Therefore, for this reason alone, the Committee declined the application."

The club will now see to re-apply via NLS Regulation 7.1 to join the National League System for the 2026/2027 season.
