As many of you maybe aware our social media posts have been tracked and plagued by a negative follower who we see as nothing more than the “The Wicked Witch of Whetstone”.

Initially she teamed up with “King Richard the Parasite” hoping to discredit the very football club that they had just joined in their attempt to take control of it and run it totally for their own needs.

Both joined the club in May 2024 and by June they were both wreaking havoc to establish their own importance, relying solely on parent power.

Within the first weeks of getting onboard, King Richard the Parasite demanded:-

- discounted subs for his extended family,
- work experience for his eldest son and,
- a part time job for his vile mouthed partner.

Totally against the grain we decided to discount the amount of subs his family paid and then provided his son with one week’s works experience, which he confirmed that he thoroughly enjoyed. His partner was so ignorant from day one that she closed that door for herself, so we never had the displeasure of working with her.

By July, King Richard advised us that the season before last was supposed to be his last and he was looking to find someone to hand the team over to now he had found them a home!

This was a total contradiction to when he was interviewed for the job and then when he first came in and confirmed his excitement to "getting on with this new project". We quickly came to realise that King Richard the Parasite was very single minded and he thought parent power could overrule common sense and business authority. When this failed, we shared with the parent group what he had negotiated for himself causing him to walk away from the club and in doing so folded the team leaving players and parents without football.

Meanwhile The Wicked Witch of Whetstone quickly became the single voice in the monthly Parent Group Meetings and by August she had already fallen out with the back-office team about booking the function room for free. This was because her previous team required a venue for their end of season presentation for the season ending before her son’s team joined our club!

This was another red flag but instead of stamping on her rude and aggressive behaviour we chose to kill it with kindness and this just had an adverse effect and encouraged her to get worse and even more power hungry.

The season started poorly for both teams and the son of The Wicked Witch of Whetstone quickly picked up his second booking of the season, the first time she stated that she couldn’t afford to pay the fine until she got paid then for the second time she stated that she was not going to reimburse the club for the fine because she had not signed anything to enforce this. Everybody in football knows that all bookings are charged to the club and reimbursed by the player or parent of, if a minor. The club settled the fine to avoid the team getting suspended but The Wicked Witch of Whetstone still refused to co-operate and repay her son’s fine.

The Wicked Witch of Whetstone then refused to pay her son’s subs at which point the club had to state that enough was enough and her son would not be able to play for the club again until his subs were brought back up to date.

The Wicked Witch of Whetstone continued on her conquest and was eventually barred from Leicester Road Stadium, so she withdrew her son from the club in protest without settling the outstanding subs. There was never any issues with her son, all the problems came from the parent!

From that moment onwards The Wicked Witch of Whetstone began her crusade of negativity tagging on the back of every social media post quoting many untruths.

The Wicked Witch of Whetstone was particularly focussed on the club chairman, a person that works very hard for the club and has been at the spine of the club since we first formed, he does not receive a penny for his voluntary work and his company still sponsors the club.

This she-devil has made accusations that he has made detrimental comments about women. Well please note I am a female writing this part of this article and I can confirm, we have a female president and a female chair of the foundation, the consultant who wrote our development plan was female and the consultant sourcing funding for our club is female. To back this up even further, our deputy head steward is female and all our bar and events team are female so you can hardly state that the chairman is anti-female or even imply it!

Further comments have been made by The Wicked Witch of Whetstone about “ruining young peoples lives” and “parents have invested their livelihoods into the club”. Both statements are both implied and are without foundation or any relevance.

We must reconfirm that King Richard the Parasite and The Wicked Witch of Whetstone both forced both teams to quit the club by constantly asking parents to vote on matters. So surely considered the implications that it would have on the players impacted by their decisions voted on by their parents?

Detrimental comments are continually being made about sponsorship by The Wicked Witch of Whetstone. For the avoidance of any doubt all sponsors are contracted to the club and all sponsorship money comes into the club for the club’s benefit. Specific sponsorship is targeted for specific teams but this is not gift-aid. It is still club sponsorship and the garments and/or equipment in question purchased with sponsorship money are owned by the club. The Wicked Witch of Whetstone struggled to understand this or chose not to accept it!

Detrimental comments are also being levelled about misappropriation of grants, please note that no grants were applied for during the club’s association with The Wicked Witch of Whetstone and what she doesn’t know she makes up! The Wicked Witch of Whetstone’s infatuation with the club has caused her to tell many blatant lies!

There is no end goal in The Wicked Witch of Whetstone's crusade and all bridges have been burnt. Irrespective of whether The Wicked Witch of Whetstone continues her hate campaign against this football club, three things will not change:-

(1) She has no powers to remove a director or shareholder from the club;
(2) She will never have any say in defining the rules of this club;
(3) She has been barred from Leicester Road Stadium and there is no reason for that ban to ever get lifted.

Our football club has moved on and will start the 2025-2026 season as a new club with no baggage and we will definitely have no association with either The Wicked Witch of Whetstone or King Richard the Parasite.

Clearly if there was more football news to write about we would but because there isn’t we have decided to clear up this matter once and for all.
